 Why have one book launch when you can have two, I say?!
The second celebration for The Art Garden was at the uber-cute Pickwick & Sprout bookshop, in Hurstbridge, the uber-lovely Penni Russon, who was also launching her new book, The Endsister (Allen & Unwin). Put this one on your must-read list! There were craft activities for the kids upstairs, with speeches and champagne for the grown-ups downstairs. So much fun!  What a way to welcome a new book into the world - surrounded by beautiful friends and family!
The launch of The Art Garden, at the gorgeous 'shop up top', at Eltham Bookshop, was a wonderful celebration with craft, cupcakes and stories. I was so honoured to have the fabulous author Alison Reynolds launch The Art Garden with true warmth and wit. Eltham Bookshop owner Meera Govil and her family were also a tremendous force on the day. A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported me! So very blessed.  The Planthunter is one of my favourite magazines, exploring a different issue and its relationship to nature each month. I was so thrilled to contribute a piece for their mystery issue, looking at the magic and allure of gardens for children's writers. Click on the image to read more.
